DESNOYERS, Marcel – At the Ottawa Civic Hospital, on Saturday, August 28, 2021. He was 78. Dear friend of Shirley Michaud. Loving father of Robert (Lisa), Claudette Patenaude and the late Marcel Jr. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Philip, Samantha, Celine, Amanda, Melanie, Madelaine, Abigail, Isabella and 4 great grandchildren. Survived by his siblings, Agnes Groleau, Rolland Desnoyers (Bernice), Theresa St-Pierre (Robert), Madeleine Parisien (Gerald), Yvette Alley (Yvan) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Romeo and Florida (Leduc) Desnoyers and his siblings, Jean “Johnny” (Shelley), Jerry (Hennie), Jeannine Dion (Wilson) and Raoul (late Georgina). Funeral arrangements entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 2, 2021 from 6:30-8:00pm and on Friday from 10:00am until 11:00am. Attendance will be controlled and those attending are required to wear a face mask. Rite of Committal at Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date.
