LEMIRE, Marcel Emile– At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday October 17, 2019. He was 82. Beloved husband of the late Jeannette (Fortier) Lemire (October 1, 2019). Loving father of Micheline Street (Brett), Julie Lemire (Erin Moss) and Daniel Lemire (Isabelle Chantal). Sadly missed by 4 grandchildren, Alexann, Amanda, Matthew and Stephanie Beauvais. Survived by 4 brothers, Jean-Paul Lemire (Anne), Gerry Lemire (Darquise), Leonard Lemire (Pauline) and Bernie Lemire (Jessie) and 1 sister, Paulette O’Reilly (Gene). He will be missed by all nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his parents, Florian and Gratia (Martel) Lemire, his brother, Herbie Lemire and his sister Claudette Bresolin (Felice). Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Friday November 1st from 7-9pm and Saturday from 9 -10 am followed by Funeral Liturgy, in the chapel of the funeral home. Committal to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Optimist Club of Cornwall or the Big Brothers & Big Sisters would be appreciated by the family.
