It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marcel Joseph Latreille at the Cornwall Community Hospital-JMP on Thursday, August 26th, 2021 at the age of 97 years. Beloved husband of the late Eileen Latreille (née Pelkey). Loving father of Albert Latreille (Maureen) of Red Deer, AB, James Latreille (Diane), Mary Major (late Bill), Ellen Proulx, Vicky Latreille (Roger) all of Cornwall, Rose Latreille, Rita Leblanc (Bernie) and Susan McDonald (Scott) all of Williamstown. Cherished grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents; Theotime Latreille and Amy Latreille (née Bray), two sons; Edward Latreille and David Latreille, one granddaughter, three brothers; Dona Latreille, Emile Latreille and Russel Latreille and four sisters; Yvette Stuart, Connie Doyle, Alice Fortin and Reina Major. Visitation will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, (613-938-3888) on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Mary’s Church, Williamstown on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 11 am. Followed by interment in the parish cemetery. Masks and social distancing will be required during the visitation and the Funeral. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital-JMP would be appreciated by the family.
