Marguerite Lanthier (Proulx)

At the Palace LTC on Friday, May 7, 2008. Marguerite Lanthier (nee Proulx) of Glen Robertson; age 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Maurice Lanthier (2008). Loving mother of Marcel Lanthier (Johanne) of Glen Robertson, Jean Lanthier (Tammy) of Coteau du Lac, Quebec, and Lise Roy (Michel) of Glen Robertson. Dear sister of Jeannine Proulx, Monique Aylwen (Clement). Predeceased by four brothers; Paul, Robert, Jacques and Lucien, and by two sisters, Gisèle Arcand (late Claude) and Thérèse Proulx. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and by 9 great-grandchildren. As per Marguerite’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be a private family graveside committal service at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (613-525-2772). As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Marguerite, a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
