McMANUS, Marguerite (née Froats) – Mrs. Marguerite McManus at the Cornwall Community Hospital – McConnell Site on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife the late William McManus. Dear sister of James Froats (Evelyn). Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law’s Joy Hudson (Gerry), Gay McManus, Nancy Felmate (David), and her brother-in-law Grant McManus (Fran); as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her infant daughter Karen; parents George and Beatrice (née Cross) Froats; step-father Raymond Stang; and siblings Wayne Froats and Hubert Froats (late Darlene). Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Friday January 18th from 10-10:45 AM. The Liturgy of the word will be celebrated in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Friday January 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal at a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery, Cornwall. If so desired, contributions in her memory to the Cornwall Community Hospital – Addictions and Mental Health, or Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
