Marguerite Patricia White (nee Kent), age 79 at Glen Stor Dun Lodge, Cornwall Ontario passed away surrounded by the love of her daughter and grandson on March 4th, 2020.

When God called you home, we knew that it was time to let go of our dearly beloved, “Mrs. White”.  We whispered we loved you, as you peacefully left this world towards the gates of Heaven.

There to greet you was Our Heavenly Father, your parents Patrick and Mary Kent, your husband Douglas White Jr., and your long-time friend and companion Vincent Redmond. Stood tall were your brothers Gordon, Robert John, and Myles-Dennis Kent and your proud sister Joan Broughton, as well as your  Mother-and Father-In Law, Margaret and Douglas White Sr., Sister-In-Law Kathleen Kent, Brothers-In Law, Lynn Broughton, Joseph Dollard and Malcolm White, as one of your longest and best friends William Kent smiled and held the gate open for you.

She leaves to mourn her loving daughter, Colleen White and her cherished beautiful grandson, Braeden Lamano, and her dear friend and golf buddy, Mark Lamano.

She will be dearly missed by her brother Don Kent (Ursula), and lovingly remembered by her Sisters-In-Laws, Catherine Kent and Carol Kent.

In Newfoundland she will be deeply mourned by her Sisters-In-Law, who she always referred to  as “ Her Sisters”,  Rosa Dollard, Valda Bourgeois, Geneva Coles (Abe), Chris Wilson (Paul), Carlotta Fennemore (Charles) and by her loved and respected Brother-In-Law, Kirk White (Joanne).

“Auntie Marg” will continue to be adored and looked up to by all her many nieces and nephews whom she loved so deeply, with a special mention to “her buddy” Joelle Dollard whom she shared an indescribable kindred spirit with.

She will be forever missed by all who loved her, especially her life-long best friends; Bridget Kent, Agatha McLean (Angie-Baby!,  first-cousin), Peter and Catherine Konink, Mike and Theresa McAnany,  Shirly Myre, Rose Zukowski, and all “ The Card Girls’.

And finally, it is with the utmost pride and respect for my Mother to be able to  share that “Mrs. White” will be eternally remembered by all her former students,  as “ My favorite Teacher”, by their parents as “ The Best Principal Ever” ,  and as a deeply respected Educator, friend, and trusted-confidant  by all of her many colleagues.
