MARIE ANNE LAUBER – It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our sister, Marie Anne Lauber, passed away on September 26, 2019, in her 79th year, at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, B.C. following a short illness.
Marie Anne was born in Cornwall, Ontario and was pre-deceased by her parents Garnet and Evelina Lauber as well as her brother, Maurice and brother-in-law Michael. She is survived by her sisters, Lauraine Lauber and Carol Costello of Oakville, Ontario and her nephews Brian and his wife Kim, Craig and his wife Sylvie, and her niece Cynthia Hogan and her husband James.
Our thanks to the staff of St. Paul’s Hospital and in particular to our cousin Garnet McPhee and to Judy Graves for their devoted attention and care throughout Marie Anne’s illness.
Marie Anne will be remembered for her sparkling intelligence and sharp wit.
A private service will be held in Vancouver and Oakville, and burial will take place in Oakville, Ontario.
