Marie-Jeanne Lalonde
Passed away with her loving family by her side on June 5th, 2025, at the Tsiionkwanonhso:te Long-Term Care Facility, at the age of 88 years.
At peace, resting alongside her loving husband of 69 years, Noel Lalonde.
Survived by her sons Marc Lalonde (Debra) and Denis Lalonde (Lorrie), her daughters Sylvie Christensen (Patrick), Ginette Clark Marchello (Paul), Julie McIntosh (Claude), Manon Lalonde Di Girolamo (Larry), and Jo-Anne Farmer (Dawson).
Dearly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
Beloved sister to Jacqueline Cole (late Orlie), Huguette Beaulieu (Jacques), Nicole Lalande (Antoine), and Gerald Leduc.
Predeceased by her parents Isidore Leduc and Alma Martin, brothers Guy Leduc (late Helen), Leo Leduc (Gisele), and granddaughter Michelle McIntosh.
Marie went by many names; Grandma, Nana, Toots, and GGma. She was an avid knitter, card player, and an amazing baker. Marie was strong in her faith, which played a very important part in her life, as well as her family and friends, which she cherished greatly.
The family would like to give their appreciation to the dedicated staff at Tsiionkwanonhso:te Long-Term Care Facility for taking such good care of their mother.
Arrangements have been entrusted to LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall, ON.
A Mass at 11 a.m. will be celebrated at St Francis de sales Parish, 434 Second Street West, Cornwall, on Saturday July 5th, 2025. Inurnment at Notre-Dame Cemetery will follow. There will be a luncheon to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, 415 Second St W, Cornwall, ON.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Tsiionkwanonhso:te Long-Term Care Facility (TSI), 70 Kawehnoke apartment road, Akwesasne, ON, K6H 5R7, or the activity fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
