Peacefully, with her family by her side, at home on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. Marie Wilkes (nee Judd) of Maxville, formerly of Fournier, age 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Orville Wilkes. Loving mother of Wendy Turner (Brian) of Ottawa, Aileen Cross (Bruce) of Vankleek Hill, and Ken Wilkes (Peggy) of Fournier. Dear sister of Kathryn MacGregor (late Scotty), Anna Childs (Reg McCurdy) and Leisha Pearce (Bill). Proud grandmother of Kathleen, David (Beth), Devin (Danielle), Colleen (Curtis), Adam (Cameron), Emily (Bobby), Graham (Natalie), Leigh-Ann (Sean), Hannah (Philip) and Andrew, and great-grandmother of Charlie and Daisy. Predeceased by her parents Rev. Charles Judd and Leisha Van der Jagt. Marie will be missed by her sister-in-law Lorna Winter and her many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Sarah Barkley, Dr. Meaghen Hagerty and the nurses who visited Mom at home.
