It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mariette Marion announces her passing at Southbridge Cornwall on June 23, 2025, at the age of 85. Mariette was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and a cherished member of her extended family and community.
Beloved wife of the late Réjean Marion.
Mariette leaves behind her loving children Luc Marion (Shelley) and Danielle Marion (Dave), who will remember her unwavering support, warmth, and wisdom. Adored grand-maman of Madeleine and Kal. Mariette shared many joyful moments with her precious grandchildren.
Mariette is also survived by her dear brother Réjean Lamarche (Diane), many nieces, nephews, and in-laws who will deeply miss her presence, kindness, and generosity.
Predeceased by her parents Benjamin and Estelle (née Lalonde) Lamarche and her infant sister Denise.
The Marion family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Southbridge Cornwall for their exceptional care and support.
The family will be in attendance at St. Félix de Valois Parish (620 Glengarry Blvd, Cornwall, ON) on Thursday, July 10th 2025, from 10:00 am until time of Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan, Cornwall Funeral Home, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mariette may be made to the Alzheimer Society, a cause close to the family’s heart.
