CURRIER, Marion Joyce – It is with great sadness that the family of Marion (neé Eamon) Currier announce her passing at the Cornwall Community Hospital, on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the age of 78. Marion was a kind and generous spirt, who loved her family and her home. She took great pride in her flower gardens and rarely passed up an opportunity to visit a house sale or go for a Sunday drive. Marion will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend of 57 years, Fred “Pete” Currier. Loving mother of Jerry Currier of Long Sault, Joyce (Luke) Jackson of Chesterville, Joanne (David) St. Denis, of Cornwall and the late, Kenneth “Kenny” Currier. Proud grandmother of Jennifer, Amanda, Shawn, Evan, and Jonathan. Dear sister of David (Bonnie) Eamon, Brian (Mary Rose) Eamon, both of Long Sault; Diane Eamon, Marlene (the late Paul) Currier, Mike (Lise) Eamon, Carol (Ronnie) Tyo, all of Cornwall, Dennis (Cindy) Fulton and Ronnie Fulton. Marion is predeceased by her loving mother, Joyce (neé Goldsmith) Eamon, her sisters, Linda Eamon and Joan Coughler and her brother Keith Eamon. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, grand neices and grand nephews. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482). A Graveside service will be held at Fairview United Church Cemetery, at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
