Martha Taraszczuk (Hollander)
Peacefully, at the Carleton Lodge, Ottawa on Tuesday December 3, 2019. Martha Taraszczuk (nee Hollander) of Green Valley; age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Wasyl Taraszczuk (2005). She is predeceased by her parents Friedriech Hollander and Anna Frieda Winter; also by her siblings Karl Hollander, Erma Hollander, Helga Hollander and Heinz Herbert Moehme. She is survived by her sister Annelie Asmus. Martha will be fondly remembered by her family and friends in both Canada and Europe. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St., Alexandria (525-2772) on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 1 – 3 and 5 – 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael’s Church on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
