Peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 5, 2019. Gertrude Mary Lambert (née Bennett) formerly of Green Valley; age 99 years. Dear wife of the late Charles Lambert. Mary was very active with the Girl Guide Movement in this area. She will be fondly remembered by many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, ON (613-525-2772) on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 2 – 4 pm, Eulogies at 3 pm. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Mary a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
