It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Mary Margaret (“Mae”) Benton (née Dixon) on May 25,2023 in Guelph, ON in her 98th year. Mae passed on with her family by her side after a courageous 6 year battle with Alzheimer’s.
Mae was the beloved wife of the late Percy LeGallais and the late George Benton. She was “mom” to her daughter Lyn Lacey (Larry) and her son James LeGallais (Josée). She was “Grandma Mae” aka “Grams” to Heather (Ronak), Griffin (Hayley), Courtney (Tyler), Alexa (Farouk) and Charlée and “Great Grandma Mae” to Kieran, Maya, Devon, Lonan and Wynn.
