It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Theresa Arbic (née Laviolette) after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023 at Cornwall Hospice at the age of 77 years. Loving wife for 56 years of Laurier Arbic. Loving mother of – Andrew Arbic (Sherry Wylie), Trevor Arbic (Kim Tardiff) Shannon (Jamie Bain). Cherished grandmother of Micaela, Mackenzie and Maevin Wylie-Arbic, Ethan and Marissa Arbic. Dear sister of Pat Laviolette (Joanne Price). She will be sadly missed by her cousins, Allan Auger (Faye), Bobby Auger (Joan) and many from Ireland and Oysterhaven. She is predeceased by her parents; Phillias Laviolette and Margaret Laviolette (née McCarthy). As per Mary’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27th, 2023 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 28th, 2023 at St. Francis De Sales Church at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
