Peacefully at the Lancaster Long Term Care on Sunday, 21, 2021. Mary Whitham (nee Doonan) of Green Valley, formerly of Verdun, QC; age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Emile Whitham. Loving mother of Charles (Linda), Leonard (Brenda) and Warren. Caring sister of Ron Doonan (late Betty) and Robert Doonan (late Terry). Mary is predeceased by 3 brothers; Leon (late Rollande), Gerald (Germaine) and Donald (late Joan); and by one sister, Doreen Gilbert (late Eddie). Dear daughter of the late Charles and Aline (Pregent) Doonan. Proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak Street, Lancaster, ON (613-347-3629) on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 9 – 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lancaster at 11 a.m. Masks and physical distancing will be required for all gatherings. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the CNIB would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Mary a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
