DEMERS, Maurice – It is with sadness that we announce the passing of M. Maurice Demers at the Cornwall Community Hospital surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Patricia Demers born Timbers; The loving father to Dianne (Robert Lacelle), Daniel (Carolle Parisien) and Marc (Joanne Lussier); The adored grandpa of Martine, Nadine, Alexandre, Véronique, Stéphanie, Frédéric whom he had the privilege to see become responsible adults. He leaves a sister Laurence and a sister-in-law Stella Sauvé as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Damien and Flora as well as siblings; Blanche, Jeannette and Rhéal. Maurice was a generous, giving soul, always there for those who needed him.
