Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. Maurice Fern Menard of Monkland; age 72 years. Beloved husband of Heather Menard (nee MacDonald). Loving father of Maurice Jr. (Pam Wotherspoon) of Cornwall, Mychèle Menard of Monkland, Julie Menard (Ronald Archambault) of Monkland, and Jean-Pierre Menard (Cecelia) of Bourget. Predeceased by one brother Michel Menard (Joan of Cornwall), and by his parents Jean Marcel and Jeanne Menard (nee Lamarche). Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the MS Society, or to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada would be appreciated by the family.
