PRIEUR, Maurice “Mo” – Passed away in the company of family at the Cornwall Community Hospital on June 11, 2021. He is survived by his loving son, Marc Prieur (Christine) from Orleans, ON, loving daughter, Danielle Patterson (Wayne) from Guelph, ON, sister Nicole Trudel (Jack) and dear grandchildren Luc and Kristin Prieur. He was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Imelda Prieur (Beaulieu), his sister Huguette Villeneuve and brother-in-law Rudy. He is also remembered fondly by his loving extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews. Mo was an accomplished musician who loved to entertain family and friends and had played at countless concerts and events over the years. He will be remembered as a man who always had a song in his heart. Friends may pay respects at the Wilson Funeral Home, 218 Montreal Road, where visitation will be held on Friday June 18, 2021 from 9-9:30am and 10-10:30am. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, those wishing to attend the visitation must call the funeral home at 613-938-3888 to reserve an appointed time. A private family interment will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank the Cornwall Community Hospital, St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre, and Bayshore Healthcare for the compassionate and excellent care they provided. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mo’s memory to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation or St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre.
