It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear husband and father, known to everyone as Moe. On May 27, 2021 at the Ottawa Heart Institute, age 75 years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Paulette (née Charlebois) Sabourin. Forever remembered by his daughters Céline Allaire (Dan) and Sophie Filliol (Shawn). Lovingly remembered by his 5 grandchildren; Janie and Maxime Allaire; and Caleb, Eric and Jean Filliol. He will also be missed by his siblings; Pauline Lepage (late Guy), Jeanne Lamarche (late Maurice) and Raymond Sabourin (Marie). Known as Uncle Pooch, he will be missed by all his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Bertha May (née Robillard) Sabourin and by his sister Rita Sabourin. Moe was an avid fisherman who loved spending time with his family and friends and catching up on the news at morning coffee with his friends. Special thank you to the nurses and staff of the Hemodialysis Unit at the Cornwall Community Hospital for their care and support. The family will be in attendance at Lahaie and Sullivan, Cornwall Funeral Homes 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) for visitation on Tuesday August 17, 2021 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held privately at Ste.
