Merilyn Colbran
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Merilyn Colbran of Apple Hill on Sunday February 16, 2025 at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital; age 83 years. She leaves to mourn her loving spouse Lorne Ross, her siblings Barbara (Carmine) DiRienzo, Lois MacLeod (late Campbell), Phyllis (Nicholas) Van Egmond and Deanna (Gary) MacKillican. She will also be missed by her sister-in-law Linda (Leo) Laurin and several cherished nieces and nephews. Merilyn was predeceased by her parents Harold and Nancy (née Doucett) Colbran and her brother James (late Barbara) Colbran. In keeping with Merilyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering take place at a later date. Final arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro and Morris Funeral Homes, 20 Main St. S, Maxville, ON, (613)527-2898.
