Nancy Patricia McMillan (nee Schorlemer) passed peacefully at the Ottawa Civic on Saturday, November 28th, 2020, at the age of 87.

Nancy was born and raised in the beautiful area of Kimberley, BC where she met the love of her life, Doug. Nancy was the treasured wife of the late Doug McMillan for 62 years. Though their journey took them from Kimberley to Berwick to Cornwall and back to Kimberley, they settled at the family farm on Rush City Road in 1965, until the retirement move to her current home in Avonmore. Nancy was an avid reader, talented painter, enthusiastic knitter and an accommodating card player for Doug.

Nancy was very proud of her large family: Patricia Fleming (Frank Ruggiero), Susan Casselman (Hubert), late Michael McMillan, Rob McMillan (Wendy), Dianne MacMillan (Donn) and Derek McMillan (Shelly).

Cherished Grandmother of Jarrett Fleming, Steven Fleming (Josee), Lori Vass (Will), Angie Jackson (Paul), Douglas Casselman (Christine), Joshua Casselman (Shelley), Michael McMillan , Laine McMillan , Kyle Merpaw (Brigitte), Tyson MacMillan (Sarah), Kaitlyn Van Gessel (Jeff), Dryden McMillan (Hannah), Nicholas McMillan (Lily), Kade McMillan , Katelyn Padbury and Emma Padbury and Great Grandmother of Cassy, Doyle, Rowan, Finley, Mairen, Connor, Alexis, Tristan, Breigh, Brayden, Morgan, Seoul, Kori-Anne, Blake, Mason, Ben, Owen and Amelia.

Nancy is predeceased by her parents Bill and Leona Schorlemer (nee Hopkins), sister of Billy Schorlemer and the late Brian Schorlemer.

Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd, 20 Main Street South, Maxville, ON (613-527-2898). A private family only Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew ‘s Presbyterian Church, Avonmore.
