GALLINGER, Neil – Mr. Neil Clifton Gallinger peacefully surrounded by his family at Cornwall Hospice on Thursday May 23, 2019 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Heather Gallinger (née Fetterly). Loving father of Vicki, Lori (Scott McDonald), and Julie (Dominic Lessard). Proud Poppa of Ashley and Tyler Akins, Regan and Reese McDonald, and Bennett and Quinton Lessard. Brother-in-law of Harry and Sue Fetterly. Neil is a member of the South Stormont and Cornwall Sports Hall of Fames for his accomplishments as a softball pitcher. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, where visitation will take place on Tuesday May 28, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9PM and on Wednesday May 29, 2019 from 10-10:50AM. A funeral ceremony will be held in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday May 29, 2019 at 11:00AM. Interment at Waterdown Cemetery in Lunenberg, Ontario to take place at a later date.
