Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the Tsiionkwanonhso:te Long-Term Care Facility, at the age of 89 years.
Loving husband of 69 years to Marie-Jeanne Lalonde (née Leduc).
Survived by his sons Marc Lalonde (Debra) and Denis Lalonde (Lorrie), his daughters Sylvie Christensen (Patrick), Ginette Clark Marchello (Paul), Julie McIntosh (Claude), Manon Lalonde DiGirolamo (Larry), and Jo-Anne Farmer (Dawson).
Dearly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents Pierre Lalonde and Yvonne Leroux, brothers Lucien Lalonde (Lea), Aimé Lalonde (Alice), Leo Lalonde (Aldea) Aza Lalonde (Therese), Andre Lalonde (Desange), and Rene Lalonde (Christine), and granddaughter Michelle McIntosh.
The family would like to give their appreciation to the dedicated staff at Tsiionkwanonhso:te Long-Term Care Facility.
Arrangements have been entrusted to LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall, ON.
Family will be in attendance at St Francis de sales Parish, 434 Second Street West, Cornwall, on Saturday April 5th, 2025 at 11 a.m.
A visitation will be held following Mass at St. Francis de Sales.
A luncheon will take place at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 205 Amelia Street, Cornwall, at 1 p.m.
Inurnment at Notre-Dame Cemetery will be held at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Tsiionkwanonhso:te Long-Term Care Facility (TSI) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
