Grand-Mère, Mother of Song
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norma Rouleau at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Saturday, December 4, 2021.
Norma was the spouse of the late Raymond ‘Doc’ Rouleau and the daughter of the late Bernadette Hamel and the late Mélio Contant.
She will be fondly remembered by her children André (Lise), Charlotte (André) and grand-son Emmanuel (Josée-Anne) and great grandchildren Aurélie and Laurent, her brother-in-law Rolf Leininger, her niece Robin, other nieces and nephew and families of step-grandchildren Judith (Mario), Isabel (Jay), Tina (Duncan) and Eric as well as their children Joël, Gabrielle, Élise, Ava and Gracie. Norma was the sister of the late Delvida, Reine, Doris and Dorothy.
She is fondly remembered by her many friends.
Arrangements entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841).
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the March of Dimes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
A private liturgical celebration was held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home for the family.

C’est avec le cœur lourd que nous annonçons le décès de Norma Rouleau à l’Hôpital Communautaire de Cornwall, le samedi 4 décembre, 2021.
Elle était l’épouse de feu Raymond ‘Doc’ Rouleau et la fille de feue Bernadette Hamel et de feu Mélio Contant.
De précieux souvenirs sont gravés dans la mémoire de ses enfants André (Lise), Charlotte (André) et son petit-fils Emmanuel (Josée-Anne) et arrières petits-enfants, Aurélie et Laurent, son beau-frère Rolf Leininger, sa nièce Robin, autres nièces et neveu et les familles de ses beaux-petits-enfants, Judith (Mario), Isabel (Jay), Tina (Duncan) et Eric ainsi que leurs enfants Joël, Gabrielle, Élise, Ava et Gracie. Norma était la sœur de Delvida, Reine, Doris et Dorothy.
Ses amis conservent de beaux souvenirs d’elle.
La direction des funérailles a été confié au Salon Funéraire Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841).
Pour ceux qui le désirent, des dons à La Marche des Dix Sous du Canada (March of Dimes Canada) seraient appréciés.
Une célébration religieuse privée a eu lieu dans la chapelle du salon funéraire avec la famille.
