Olaf Reiman
30 January, 1932 – 3 October, 2021.
REIMAN, Olaf – Passed away peacefully, at the age of 89, with his family by his side on Sunday October 3, 2021, at the Cornwall Hospice. Devoted and loving husband for 63 wonderful years to his wife, Siiri. Cherished father of Mai-Liis (Sheldon), Jaan (Audrey), and Merike (Ivan). Much loved grandfather of Kristian, Katrina (Zach), Kristofer, Emily and Alex and step grandfather of Janet (Ray), Angela (Chris) and Tina (David). Adored great-grandfather to Rowan and Grayson, and step great-grandfather to Stephen, Stephanie, Logan, Jonathon, Aidan, Marieke, Bradley, Sophia, Isabella and Ryan.
Olaf leaves behind his brother Gunnar (Maarja) Reiman of Petersfield, England and sister Helle Green (late James) of Ottawa. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces Katrin (David), Inge (Kerry), Lisa (Tony), and Tiina-Louise (Andrew), and nephew Indrek (Anne).
Arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482). In following with Olaf’s wishes cremation has taken place, and there will be a private family celebration of his life at a future date.
Olaf’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Raj Menon for her many home visits and support. They would also like to thank the staff of Cornwall Hospice for their compassion and care. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Cornwall Hospice, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
