It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of our precious Ma Totah Ma Owisò:kon Julia Thompson (née Lazore) at the age of 80 years. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday December 31, 2023 at the Cornwall Community Hospital. Julia married the love of her life Michael Thompson Sr. She is the loving mother of Mona Thompson, Velma Louise Cook (Lionel) both of Akwesasne, Andrea Thompson of Cornwall, Randall Thompson (Tara) of Akwesasne, Jacqueline Thompson of Cornwall, Micheline White (Todd), Christopher Thompson (Candy), Sarah Rose Thompson, Gary Kanoe Thompson all of Akwesasne, Sean Thompson (Darla) of Ohsweken and Shakorhare Thompson of Akwesasne.
