Paul Dusomos
1969 – 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Dusomos announce his passing at age 52 on April 30, 2021 at Belleville General Hospital, after a brief stay at Moria Place LTC in Tweed. Beloved son of Harry and Jane (Van Noort), predeceased) and step mother Barbara Dusomos. Much loved brother of Gerry and Cathy (Conroy), Mary Ann, Morris and Donna (Dingwall), Janey, Angela Nurse, (preceded by brother-in-law Don), Paul and Patty Racine, Erika Racine and Geoffrey Racine and many nieces and nephews and their families. Missed dearly by all of his friends and staff at the Bishop group home in Alexandria. Paul was a resident of Glengarry Community Living for 28 Years. Our family will forever be thankful for the many opportunities Paul was given as a resident of Glengarry Community Living for 28 years.
Paul will forever be remembered for his amazing smile, contagious laugh and his wonderful hugs. Paul’s love of life was shown in everything he did. He participated in swimming at Special Olympics, bowling, going to country concerts, his love of going to hockey games, and watching wrestling. He is gone from the earth and now present with the Lord. A Celebration of Life will follow later this year – circumstances allowing. As expressions of sympathy donations accepted to Community Living Glengarry www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/glengarry-association for community living, Special Olympics, and Gideon Bibles.
