Pauline Laplante (née Adam)

In her 86th year, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pauline (née Adam) Laplante, who passed away on May 16, 2022. Beloved wife of Réjean Laplante for sixty-five years. Loving mother of Daniel (Jocelyne Bazinet), Marielle (David Wheeler), Normand (Suzanne Beaudoin) and Nicole (Bill Nicol). Cherished grandmother of Danny Richer, Dominique Laplante, Émilie Wheeler, Chloé Wheeler, Katherine Laplante, Alexandra Laplante, Gabrielle Nicol, and Joshua Nicol. Adored great-grandmother of Stella, Olivia, and Evie. Dear sister of Fernand Adam (late Fleurette), Émile Adam, Raymond Adam (Monique) and Jacqueline Seabrook (late Ronald). Pauline will be greatly missed by many family members and friends. Predeceased by her parents Hector and Thérèse (née Lafrance) Adam and by her sisters Jeannine Bazinet (Lionel) and Diane Adam. A special thank you to Dr Dominique Miron, to the staff at Résidence Aquatria and to all the professional caregivers that cared for her. We are very grateful to the Congrégation des Sœurs du Sacré-Cœur de Jésus à Aquatria, and particularly to Sister Thérèse Charbonneau. Kind and loving, Mom was a gentle soul with a smile for everyone she met throughout her life. She will be greatly missed. Family and friends were asked to meet at Salons Funéraires Lamarche & Hill Funeral Homes, 709 rue Principale Street, Casselman, Ontario, on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A funeral mass was celebrated in Ste-Euphémie Church at 1 p.m. Followed by interment at Ste-Euphémie Cemetery.
