It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Percy Billard at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at the age of 87 years.
Beloved husband of Gertrude (née Lefebvre) Billard for over 64 years.
Loving father of Alain (Lyne Besner) and Sylvie O’Rourke (Kevin). Cherished grandfather of Justin Billard (Chanel Cardinal) and Mikel Billard. Dear brother of Roger Billard (Margaret Filtz) and Murielle Poirier (late Jacques) and brother-in-law of François Bélanger.
Predeceased by his parents Elzéar and Gloria Billard (née Trottier) and his sister Lorraine Bélanger.
The family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm and Thursday, March 6 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. A Memorial Mass will take place at Saint-Felix de Valois Church, Cornwall, on Thursday, March 6 at 11:00 am.
As expressions of sympathy, a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.

Époux bien-aimé de Gertrude (née Lefebvre) Billard depuis plus de 64 ans.
Père affectueux d’Alain (Lyne Besner) et de Sylvie O’Rourke (Kevin). Grand-papa chéri de Justin Billard (Chanel Cardinal) et Mikel Billard. Cher frère de Roger Billard (Margaret Filtz) et de Murielle Poirier (feu Jacques) et beau-frère de François Bélanger.
Prédécédé par ses parents Elzéar et Gloria (née Trottier) Billard ainsi que sa soeur Lorraine Bélanger.
La famille sera présente à la Maison funéraire Lahaie & Sullivan, 20, Septième rue Ouest, (613-932-8482) le mercredi 5 mars 2025 entre 18 h et 20 h et le jeudi 6 mars de 9 h à 10 h 30. Une messe commémorative aura lieu à l’église Saint-Félix de Valois, à Cornwall, le jeudi 6 mars à 11 h.
