Peter William Flaro
Sunday, May 21st, 1944 – Saturday, July 24th, 2021.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter William Flaro on Saturday July 24, 2021 at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge with his family by his side at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of 58 years to Geraldine (née Lalonde) Flaro. Loving father of Shawn (Kerri), Jeffrey (Michelle), and Sheri Flaro-Tegelaar (René). Dear brother of Murray (late Jeanine), Gerald (Claudette), Robert (Judi) and Ronald. Cherished grandfather of Katelyn, Morgan, Chelsea, Tanisha, Shayne, Grayson, Josh T, Josh W and several great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Eileen (née Padbury) Flaro and two brothers Norman (Violet) and Dwayne (Henrietta). Peter will be sadly missed by many brother – in-laws, sister -in laws and several relatives. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Tuesday August 3, 2021 from 2-4 & 7- 9 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of Service, Wednesday August 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel. Controlled visitation, masks must be worn. Internment will be held at a later date. Special thanks for all involved in his care especially Dr. Patel, Nurse Practitoner Mona and all who knew him at Glen Stor Dun Lodge. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Glen Stor Dun Lodge or the Centre 105, Trinity Anglican Church, 105 Second Street West, Cornwall, K6J 1G4, would be appreciated by the family.
