CARRIERE, Rachelle (née L’Ecuyer) – It is with broken hearts that we share the recent passing of Rachelle, peacefully at Hospice, with her loving husband by her side on Monday, November 16, 2020, at the age of 76 years, after a long and courageous fight. Beloved wife of Laurent. Loving mother of Roch (Julianne), Mario (Gina) Michel (Cindy) and Stephane (Melissa).Daughter of the late Wilfred and Anna (née Paquette) L’Ecuyer.Predeceased by her brothers Xavier, Leo (Yvonne), Bruno (Lucienne), Rolland (Vivianne), Andre (Huguette) and Bernard (Jaqueline); and by her sisters Françoise (George Dallaire), Carmen (Jean Paul Richer), Laurette, Marguerite (Arthur D’Aoust) Alexandrine (Leo Paul D’Amour), Madeline (Albert Parisien) and Thérèse.Predeceased by Roger Carrière (Thérèse), Raymond Carrière (Riella), Marcel Carrière, Aime Carrière (Bertha) and Réjeanne Watson (Arthur).Survived by Thérèse Campeau (Gaétan), Rita Masse (Gilbert), Lucien (Fernande), Cecile Carrière, Claire Lauzon (Wilfred), Marielle Mayer (Reynald) and Diane Fortier (Rudy).Cherished Mémère of Amy Anderson, Matthew Carrière, Tanya Rossi, Veronica Rossi, Justin Carrière, Camille Carrière and Mya Carrière; great-grandmother of Liam and Jacob Anderson.Predeceased by her granddaughter Isabella Carrrière.She will be sadly missed by her cherished and longtime friend Diane Menard. Rachelle was a strong, inspiring woman, who was loved by so many family and friends. She loved to laugh, she loved her casino trips and visits with her sister-in-laws, and she loved accompanying “chanson à répondre” with her spoons. She will be remembered for always graciously welcoming everyone into their home, and being a wonderful hostess.Heartfelt thank you to Dr. Leigh Carson, Bayshore Healthcare, and the wonderful staff at Hospice Cornwall.
