Ray Alexander Degan

DEGAN, Ray Alexander- Peacefully, at home with his family by his side on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. He was 87. He leaves his loving wife of 33 years, Marilyn (McKercher) Degan and his former wife the late Olive Taillon. Loving father of the late Michael Degan, the late Shaun Degan and Kelly-Lynne Boisvenue (Paul). Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother, Wayne (late Sheila) (Claire) and his sister, Joy DesGagne (late Rolland). Ray is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Irene (Dow) Degan, his brother, John Degan (Freda) and his sister, Shirley Rochon (late Romeo). Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. A private family graveside service will be held at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
