MARTELL, Raymond Wilfred – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday August 20, 2019. He was 6 weeks away from his 95th Birthday. World War 2 Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Ramona (Graham) Martell. Survived by 2 sisters, Gloria Tyo-St.Jean (Roger) and Rejeanne Lalonde. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Aldena (Lacelle) Martell, his son in infancy, 2 brothers, Armand Martell (late Alice) and George Martel (late Marie-Rose), 3 sisters, Yvonne Leblanc (late Lester), Laurette Sabourin (late Fern), Marie-Claire Sabourin (Lionel), his brother-in-law, Orville Graham (Betty) and his sister-in-law, Eunice Merpaw (late Leonard). Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. A special Thank You to all the staff and volunteers for the wonderful care Ray received during the last 3 years at Chateau Cornwall. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.
