He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, woodworking, travelling and a passion for tractors and everything associated with planes and flying. He had a great sense of humour, loved a good joke and we loved to make him laugh. He loved spending time with family and friends all while sharing his favourite desserts. The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Robert Yelle of Ottawa, his family physician of 19 years and Dr. Maggie Yu, the nurses and staff of Bayshore Care solutions of Cornwall for their care, kindness and compassion. In accordance with Réal’s wishes, there will be a cremation service followed by a private celebration of life at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482). As expressions of sympathy in Réal’s honour, please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be left at www.lahaiesullivan.ca.
