Rejeanne Maheu (Ménard)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rejeanne Maheu (nee Ménard) of Alexandria, on Tuesday, July 6, 2021; age 85. Beloved wife of the late Walter Marc Maheu (2000). Loving father of Lyne Maheu, Yvan, Sylvie Picotte (Richard) and Michel. Dear sister of Jean-Paul Ménard (late Estelle), Dora St. Germain (late Rene), Colette Sauvé (Maurice), Denise Colette (Carl), Marie-Claire Chevrier (Roger) and Clara Dubois. Predeceased by her parents George Menard and Bertha Brunet; one son Norman (Brenda Kyle); and her sisters, Thérèse Secours (late Marcel), Léonne Ranger (late Jean) and Laurette Blondin (late Roger) as well as her brother, Aimé (Marie Laure Noseworthy). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends may attend a controlled visitation at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Tuesday July 13, 2021 from 2 – 4 pm & 7 – 9 pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 – 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at église Sacré Coeur on Wednesday July 14, 2021 at 11 am. Masks and physical distancing are required at all gatherings. Interment to follow in the Parish cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society. As a Memorial to Rejeanne, a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
