Peacefully at home, with family by her side, on Friday August 11, 2023 at the age of 94. She is reunited with her loving husband of 64 years, the late Wilfrid “Pa” Dionne (2014). Dear mother of Gary Dionne (Linda) and Ilène Robertson (David) and cherished grandmother of Lee (Cindy), Jacob (Danyelle), Alyson (René-Claude), Grant (Chantelle) and Mia (Alex). Proud great grandmother of Brandon, Macey, Jansen, Amberly, Maxime, Everett, Olivier and Mason. Survived by her brother Leon Lemire of Cornwall, and her three sister-in-laws Agnes Evason, Claudette Dionne, both of Cornwall and Carmelle Lemire of Orleans. Réjeanne will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and those who were blessed to have known her. Predeceased by her parents Wilfrid and Délia (née Huneault) Lemire along with her brothers Roland, Armand, Rheal, Rene and Paul and her sisters Eva (Bonner), Marguerite and Irene (Poirier). Family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) on Saturday, September 16, from 9:30 a.m. to time of service. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 16 at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. As expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
