It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Remi Parisien at Sandfield Place on May 3, 2024 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Rona Parisien (née Lalonde). Cherished father of Richard (Liliane), Jovette Pilon (Maurice), Ronald (Stella), Lynn Kenney (Peter) and Marc. Dear grandfather of Julie, Stephan (Jo-Anie), Sophie (Colin), Martine, Jason (Katherine), Patrick (Amanda) and Ryan. Great grandfather of Cannan, Ryker, Mackenzie, Quinn, Bree and Marcus. He also leaves behind his loving companion Huguette Lalonde. Dear brother of Suzanne Frank (late Marshall). Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Laura (née Brunet) Parisien and his brothers Maurice (late Jackie) and Victor (Helen).
The family will always be grateful to the staff at Sandfield Place for their care and compassion towards their father.
Family and Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall), Cornwall, on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 9 a.m. until time of service. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Cornwall Hospice or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
