Passed away peacefully, at the St. Joseph’s Villa, on Saturday February 5, 2022. Rene Burelle of Cornwall; age 83 years. Loving father of Daniel Burelle (Deana) and Suzanne Saucier (Claude). Caring grandfather of Ian Drew (Sylvie Nadon), Stephanie Saucier (Josh Michaud), Christine Saucier, Marie-Josée Fourney (Lloyd), Anslee McGlocklin. Proud of his 9 Great-Grandchildren and several nephew and nieces. Dear brother of Roland (Odette), Rejeanne Gauthier (Yvon) and Rose Lalonde (Chuck). Predeceased by his parents Leopold and Yvonne Burelle (née Labelle) and his sister Rita Primeau (late Albert) and brothers Robert (Jeanette), Richard (Shirley) and Raymond (Linda). In keeping with Rene’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Burial at Nativity’s cemetery will held in spring of 2022. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall (613 938-3888). As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. In memory of Rene, a tree will be planted in a memory wood.
