ST JEAN, Rhéal – Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Beverly St Jean (née Baker). Loving father of Suzanne Duchesne (Yvon), Michael St Jean (Therese) and Richard St Jean (Dulce Amor Onate). Cherished pepere of Joël, Lysanne and Daniel (Rebecca), Patrick, Marie-Josée Soenen (Jesse), Allison, Trixie Anne and Jan Kemuel (Jeremiah May) and great-pepere of Kaylana, Addisyn, Ainsley, Claire, Atlas and Naomi. Dear son of the late Alfred St Jean and the late Regina (née Marcil) St Jean. Rhéal will be missed by his brothers, Roger (Gloria Tyo-St Jean) and Rejean (Jean). Predeceased by one brother, Raymond and by sisters, Irene Pharand (late Hervé) and Pauline Seguin (late Jean-Louis). Thank you to all the staff and friends at Riverdale Retirement Residence and the SJCCC Palliative Care staff for the great care provided to our dad. A special thank you to Dr. Patel, Dr. Farley, Meghan O’Brien (Nurse Practitioner) and to all who cared for dad during his illness. Resting at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES WEST BRANCH 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 and Wednesday August 21, 2019 from 9 a.m. until the time of Funeral. Funeral Service will be held in St. Peter’s Church on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
