At the Cornwall Community Hospital surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, August 1, 2020. Richard Thomas Lalonde of Cornwall; age 66 years. Loving partner of Denise Leduc, and husband by a previous marriage to Carolyn Lebano. Loving father of Krysta Ryan (Rob) of Alexandria, and Richard D. Lalonde of Apple Hill, and grandfather of Elizabeth Lalonde and Xavier Ryan. Dear brother of Michael (Darlene), James (Penny), Daniel (Sandra) all of Cornwall, and Timothy of Alexandria. Predeceased by two brothers Robert (late Pauline) and Bruce, and by his parents Thomas and Theresa Lalonde. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Forever missed by his lifelong friend Arthur Montpetit. Attendance controlled visitation and Funeral Service will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt St., Cornwall (613-938-3888) on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 9 am – 11 am and 12 pm – 2 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 2 pm. Interment will follow in the Notre Dame Cemetery. Facemasks will be mandatory during the visitation period and during the chapel service. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
