Lanoue, Richard George of Cornwall-Passed away at the age of 59 at the CCH on January 30, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. It is with great sadness that we must say goodbye to such a special soul and avid fisherman. He leaves behind his beloved friend Yvonne. Dear brother to siblings Diana Lanoue, Roxanne D’aoust, Daniel Mcphail, and Katherine McPhail. Loving uncle to many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces & nephews who will miss him dearly. Extended family Lorette and Vince Merpaw, and siblings Vince Jr., Kenny, Kevin, and Jason Merpaw. Predeceased by his father Louis Charles Lanoue, Mother Rollande (Martin) Lanoue, and sister Susan Lanoue. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in the spring. In lieu of flowers as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Cornwall Chapter of the O.S.P.C.A. would be appreciated by the family as Richard was an animal lover. “Sometimes people come into your life for a moment, a day, or a lifetime. It matters not the time spent with you but how they impacted your life in that time.” Rest easy in green pastures and calm waters… Fish on!
