POIRIER, Richard – on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Diana (née Laroche) Poirier. Loving father of Jean-Guy (Julie) and Jennifer Daros (Chris). Cherished grandfather of Zachary and Wesley Poirier and Ethan and Aidan Daros. Dear brother of Denis (Joan), Leonel (Edna), Guillaume (France), Jean-Louis (Linda), René (Kathleen), Gerald (Janet), Léo-Paul (Sharon), Denise Sanyaolu (Akinola), Yves (Nathalie) and Yvon. Predeceased by his parents, Léo and Mildred (neé Gibson) Poirier and by one brother, Daniel. Uncle Richard was loved by many nieces and nephews. The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh St. West (613-932-8482) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral on Wednesday. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
