Rita Emilia Quesnel (Boisclair)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rita Quesnel (née Boisclair), surrounded by her family, on Thursday, January 11th, 2024 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of late Andy Quesnel. Loving mother of John Tessier (Hélène), late Robert Tessier, Diane Pike (Bob) (late Michael Crites) and Doreen McRae (Roderick). Proud grandmother of Marc, late Nathan, Paul, Andrea and late Marie-Jeanne. Great-grandmother of Akiyo, Zoé and Naomie. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Thomas & Olivine Boisclair (née Leduc), her brothers Romuald, Rolland, René, Albert, Gerry, Rosaire, Francis, Romeo, her sisters Yvonne Mason and Marie Claire. To honour Rita’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donation in Rita’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
