MITCHELL, Rita (née Lalonde) – Mrs. Rita Mary Mitchell at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Monday March 1, 2021 at the age of 99 years. Loving mother of Elaine Martel (Raymond) of St. Andrews, ON, Carolyn Morin (Roger) of Abbotsford, BC, and Timmy Mitchell of St. Catharines, ON. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Kelly, Ray Jr., and Tom, and her great-grandchildren Shelby, Emma-Lee, and Sasha. Survived by her sisters Ida Thibeault (Gerry), and Donalda Coté (late Raymond). Predeceased by her husband William Mitchell, her siblings Ramian, Fred, Ernest, Rene, Raymond, Percy, Herbert, Stella, Pearl, Evelyn, and Louise, and her parents Wilfred and Syffrina (née Currier) Lalonde. Cremation has taken place. Interment at a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery. Donations in memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
