Tuesday, March 28th, 1944 – Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Bilmer on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age 77 years. Beloved husband for 52 years of Simone Bilmer (née Lavigne). Loving father of Jason Bilmer (Jacynthe Villemaire) of Ingleside, On and Angela Bilmer (Scott Brownell) of Ottawa, On. Cherished grandfather of Evan Bilmer. Dear brother of Jim Bilmer (Karen) of Cornwall, On and Elaine Warden (Glen) of South Glengarry, On. Robert will be sadly missed by many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; Leonard Bilmer and Ethel Bilmer (Leroux). As per Robert’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Funeral Arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, On (613-938-3888).
