A little nobility has left the world. Robert James LeBlanc of Cornwall, formerly of Montreal, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2020; age 96 years. Predeceased by his Fidelio, his wife Jessica Phyllis Johnson LeBlanc (2016); his parents Henri LeBlanc and Victoria Leblanc and his five siblings. Survived by his beloved daughter Victoria, son-in-law and best friend Louis Stevens and granddaughters Andrea Stevens and Catherine Stevens (Paul Scalzo). Robert was a WW II veteran as an M.P., retired Montreal Police Captain Detective, retired head of security at Noranda Copper and the Montreal Forum. In keeping with the physical distancing requirements, attendance during Mass will be controlled. Face masks are required. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria (525-2772). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated by the family.
