VAN DEN BROECK, Robert – Mr. Robert Van den Broeck departed peacefully in Cornwall on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the age of 71 years. Loving brother of Diana Van den Broeck (Daniel). Dear son of Herman Van Den Broeck and the late Anna (née Van Wanrooy) Van Den Broeck.
Robert worked for decades as an Electronics Engineer. His passion for electronics started early. He had a love for questioning and knowing that goes beyond where others stop. Some of his colleagues nicknamed him “The Brain”, for his out of the box thinking and ability to find solutions.
In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date. If so desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall.
