Rock Plouffe
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rock Plouffe on Monday June 9, 2025, at the Cornwall Community Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was 58 years old.
Rock was the proud co-founder with his wife, of Cristill Rock Water and Coffee—a visionary entrepreneur whose creativity and passion leaves an indelible mark on the local business community, a legacy now carried on by his family. His determination and spirit inspired all who knew him.
He was the cherished son of Mariette (née Lemay) Plouffe and the late Ronald “Boubou” Plouffe. Rock shared 32 beautiful years of marriage with his devoted wife and life partner, Christine Plouffe (née Wetzl). Rarely apart from each other together they built a life rooted in love, laughter, adventure and unwavering support. Rock was a deeply loving father and best friend to Nicholas “Buck” (Alyssa McLean) of Glen Walter and Rochelle “Poune” Plouffe (André Houde) Of Grand Remous. He also had his loyal companions of his beloved dogs Paco, Tundra, Rosa and grand dogs Doug and Ruby.
His absence leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482). In keeping with Rock’s wishes a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
