MARTIN-PIERCE, Rodney “Tom” M.

Age 59, of Pierce Road, Akwesasne, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Upstate Medical University Hospital, Syracuse after injuries sustained from an automobile accident.

Tom was born on January 6, 1962 in Cornwall, Ontario, the son of Lyle “The Man” Pierce and Elizabeth Martin. In his younger years, Tom was an Ironworker with local #711 out of Montreal, Quebec. Anyone who met him could tell you he had a personality that was larger than life. If you didn’t know who Tom Pierce was, he was sure to tell you “aye, do you know who I am” and you were sure to remember him. He lived life to the fullest, living each day as if it were his last. From fast cars and fast boats, to taking a gamble or hopping on a plane to wherever his heart desired, there was never a risk he wouldn’t take. He later became an entrepreneur extraordinaire who dedicated all his free time to his family. He never missed a chance to celebrate the holidays or a birthday with his children, often being the life of the party with his grandiose story telling.
